The problem with job postings

Job descriptions are often meaningless. "You're a team player but can also work independently." "We're looking for someone passionate about technology." "Come work in our young, dynamic team."

That says nothing. Here's the truth:

Who we're looking for:

Someone who understands that building software for real customers is different from building software for yourself. Who gets that "works on my machine" isn't good enough. Who chooses a solution that works over a solution that's fancy.

Someone who says "this is my problem, I'll fix it" instead of "that's not my responsibility". Who communicates directly: if something can't be done, you say so. If you need help, you ask for it.

Someone who fits in a team of 3. That means: you do many different things, nobody's looking over your shoulder, and your decisions have direct impact.

What you get:

Real impact - Your code runs at hundreds of recruitment organizations. When you build something, people actually use it.

Technical freedom - You're the expert. If you say "we need to migrate this to X", we do it. No politics, no convincing non-technical managers.

Fair salary - We pay what you're worth. No stories about "passion should drive you" while paying below market. Just honest.

Flexibility - Remote work possible. Set your own hours. We measure results, not presence. But you need to be available when there's an incident.

What you don't get:

No ping-pong table. No team outings to exotic locations. No "personal development budget" of €5000. We invest in fair salary, not benefits that sound impressive but deliver little.

Tech we use:

Symfony 7, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Kubernetes, Docker. Python for AI components. 35+ API integrations with systems that all work differently. It's not cutting-edge tech, it's tech that works.
